Looking for Help Compiling & Installing Example HTTPProvider

I’m trying to compile & install a HTTPProvider like this example but, once it’s added to the VHost.xml file, the server fails to start: https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-inject-timed-metadata-using-a-wowza-streaming-engine-http-provider

I think this is mostly an issue of getting the development environment configured properly but I may also need some help with modifying the example code.
