Use of clearcaster pro for video streaming considering workplace by facebook

Hi colleagues.

We need to use workplace by fb for live streaming but in our enterprise we don’t want to open our network to all IPs which belong to facebook. It is not secure. Do you know if it is possible to use wowza or some sort of On-premise middleware media which can provide better security ?? Any recommendation would be helpful.

Hi there,

First it’d be helpful to understand your exact limitations, why is it possible to open outbound ports for an on-premise middleware media and not the ClearCaster?

If you have stream keys for your FB Workplace streams you could send them through Wowza Streaming Cloud but you would have to open outbound ports to a larger pool of IP addresses.
