Help Required with RTSP Streaming Design

Hello Everyone,

I am currently working on setting up RTSP streaming for a project, and I’m running into some setup issues. I have followed the documentation given by Wowza, yet I’m actually experiencing issues with playback on specific certain devices.

I’m trying to use RTSP to stream content to both iOS and Android devices with the help of the Wowza Streaming Engine. The streams appear to turn out great on some devices but not on others, and I don’t know what could be causing the irregularity.

Might anybody at any point share tips or best practices for arranging RTSP streaming on Wowza, especially for ensuring compatibility across different devices? Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Marcos.

I assume you are sending RTSP to WSE, but streaming out HLS to devices? Are you using ABR?

What types of playback issues? (Not playing, stops playing, poor quality, others?)

Is there a pattern to what devices fail to play back? What players are being used?

What does incoming encoding settings look like?
